This study was conducted in the framework of A1 action of the project aiming to collect data and information for the main pilot area of AgroStrat, the Greek island Aegina.

AgroStrat was invited to participate in two day meeting on innovative initiatives for soil conservation in European Union, 24 and 25 September. The meeting, was hosted by the Benaki Phytopathological Institute (BPI), co-organised by the European Commission and the Astrale Monitoring team, invited experts from all over Europe to present soil related projects co-funded by the European Commission LIFE Programme.

Informational material relevant to the AgroStrat project was distributed to the participants of the conference "Sustainable Floriculture", which was organized under the project LIFE09 ENV/IT/067 SUMFLOWER "Sustainable Management of Floriculture in Western Riviera", in Ventimiglia, Italy, between 4 and July 5, 2013, by Professor Constantine Komnitsas (TUC) who attended the conference as a guest speaker.
